After School Programs
Anton offers after school Youth Services (YS) Program and Youth Development Program (YDP). Both of these services are provided by LAUSD Beyond The Bell Branch. Please stop by our main office for more information and to enroll your child.
Youth Development Program (YDP)
This after school program provides the following assistance to students on weekdays from
2:34 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.:
- Homework
- Recreational Activities
- Academic Enrichment
- Read-Aloud
- Snack
- Travel Enrichment Activities
Youth Services After School Playground (YS)
The after-school playground program is sponsored by the Los Angeles Unified School District and the City of Los Angeles, as an additional resource of the community recreational facilities. The program is designed to afford those students, capable of independently traveling to and from the playground, the opportunity to participate in organized games and activities. Students must conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with rules and regulations of the school. Students who do not follow the rules will not be allowed to stay on the after-school playground. The after-school playground is not a childcare facility and students DO NOT need permission to leave the playground and/or the school campus. On occasion the after school playground may be closed without prior notice. The hours will be 2:19 - 6:00 P.M on regular school days, 1:19 - 6:00 P.M. shortened days, and 1:00 - 6:00 P.M. on minimum days (subject to change).
